So it seems like it’s still a bug. After that it works. Apparently there were two non-kernel-related problems. If anybody has any ideas, they are appreciated. Unless you can confirm the card will work with madwifi I’d use ndiswrapper.

The fault seems to be related to an error in loading the firmware which is present in the hotplug firmware folder. This card needs firmware loaded in order to work. You need to log in to change this bug’s status.

August 30th, 4. I’d suggest you open an upstream new bug in bugzilla. My wireless still isn’t working. Works in Breezy just configure it from the gnome network config toolthough it isn’t recognized during installation.
